Santa Clara Monastery framework Study

Within the scope of Revive programme, the rehabilitation of Vila do Conde Santa Clara Monastery for the installation of a luxury hotel unit was assigned to The Lince Hotels & Resorts group. The programme includes social and leisure spaces (e.g. library, bookshop, events room, restaurant, spa pools, among others) and cultural spaces (e.g. interpretative centre dedicated to the building’s historical heritage and wine cellar and wine tasting).

Opium has developed a brief study of the history, traditions and knowledge generated around Santa Clara Monastery in Vila do Conde. The information assembled is ultimately intended to provide a basis for content, both for communication actions and for the design of contextualised experiences for the future hotel.
