Northern Regional Directorate for Culture
The Northern Region Portuguese Network of Contemporary Art is made up of 13 museums and centres of contemporary art and architecture in the Northern region and is part of the network of the same name launched by the Ministry of Culture at national level. RPAC – Norte aims to promote the work of these institutions responsible for more than 11,000 works of art, spread across 11 cities in the 4 tourist destinations: Porto, Douro, Minho and Trás-os-Montes.
The project, which was coordinated by Opium, involved various actions, including the creation of a four language website, the design and production of video and audio content, the development of virtual exhibitions on Google Arts and Culture platform, a training session for museum technicians, technical visits for cultural and tourism agents, a brand activation event at the Lisbon Travel Market and a project launching conference at Casa das Artes in Porto.
