Ponta Delgada Cultural Strategy

Opium developed a Cultural Strategy for Ponta Delgada (candidate city for European Capital of Culture in 2027), based on document analysis of local development strategies in areas such as culture, heritage, sustainability, education, society and economy, and extensive consultation with local and regional political leaders, technical teams, and cultural agents from various sectors. This process resulted in a characterization of the cultural and creative dynamics of Ponta Delgada, the proposition of a shared vision, based on axes of action and corresponding projects, ensured by a management model, implementation schedule and recommendation of funding sources.
