Sala Estúdio Perpétuo (Perpetual Studio Room)
Centro de Caridade Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Charity Centre
Studio Cinema at Rua de Costa Cabral, designed by architect Luís Cunha and opened in 1966, was a cultural landmark in Porto during the 1970s. At the end of the following decade, it fell into oblivion leading to its closure. Now, Sala Estúdio Perpétuo (Perpetual Studio Room) after being closed for more than thirty years is reopening its 400-seat hall and presenting a regular programme in music, cinema and theatre. This project is the result of a partnership between the Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro Charity Centre and Opium, which has taken on the responsibility of Programme and Production Directing and fundraising.
