Magellan 500 Years of the Circumnavigation

The Mission Structure to Commemorate the fifth Centenary on the Ferdinand Magellan Circumnavigation (EMCFM) was established in 2019 with the purpose to organize the 500 Years commemorations since the first globe circumnavigation, in collaboration with academic and scientific institutions, local municipalities, and other public and private entities.

In the work carried out by Opium, technical support to EMCFM stands out in the Celebrations Program planning and implementation. It comprised a set of technical tasks to ensure its conception, planning, and management, guaranteeing the coordination, integration, and complementarity of programming, management, and communication teams.
