Cultural Strategic Plan for Faro 2030

Cultural Strategic Plan for Faro 2030 preceded the efforts for the candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2027. The Strategic Plan was built upon a comprehensive consultation process with independent and institutional agents in the cultural and creative sector. The plan covers a dimension of socioeconomic characterization of the territory, an examination of the cultural and creative sector, including an analysis of public policies, mapping of cultural facilities, and cultural agenda and an appraisal of each creative subset. It outlines a strategy within a 10-year action plan evaluated in accordance with indicators in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
