Cultural Strategic Plan for Aveiro 2030

Aveiro Municipality decision to develop a Strategic Plan for Culture for the period 2019-2030 is based on the willingness to reinforce its commitment to implementing public policies which prioritize qualification of cultural offer, increasing cultural practices and consumption, attraction of new artistic and creative agents to the region, and positioning the city in the national and European context.

The plan comprises a reflection on the local cultural system, identifying its challenges and opportunities. Based on this, it proposes a vision for the future along with a set of strategic aims, outlining lines of action and intervention programs, as well as a possible implementation model.
