Casa Miguel Torga

Casa Miguel Torga, in São Martinho de Anta, is the author’s family home that was donated in 2014 to the Northern Regional Directorate for Culture to be rehabilitated as a museum space. As well as coordinating the house’s museographic and museological project, Opium developed content for the creation of a bilingual website, an audio guide and a three-day tour itinerary of the Douro and Trás-os-Montes region, its Torguian sites and places of cultural, landscape and gastronomic interest.

Furthermore, activities were carried out to activate and promote the equipment, namely through a training programme for cultural and tourism technicians, a familiarisation visit for tour operators and the media, and the organisation of the inauguration event for Casa Miguel Torga.
